Blue
Eagle Basketball Club

-- The Blue Eagle
club is comprised of boy's and girl's traveling
basketball teams, ages 11U through 14U. The
Blue Eagles are headquartered in Woodland Hills and
Calabasas, California, and draw the majority of
players from the surrounding communities. They
are a non-profit organization affiliated with the
AAU and Youth Basketball of America. Coach Ernie's
goal is to get middle-school ballplayers ready for
high school basketball. To that end, the teams
compete in a local basketball league and participate
in tournaments throughout California and the West.
This site has a excellent description on how to
teach the Motion Offense. |

Coach Gels introduced this website for his own AAU
club; however, this site became so popular it is now
getting hits from all over the world. One visit
there and you will understand why. It is complete
and easily navigated. The very best I've seen to

NBA

- Great website, but with their budget, it
should be! There is a continual flow of
updated material on teams, players and games.
There are live chats with players. You can
link to your favorite team and buy tickets and
merchandise online. My favorite is the
"History" link. Read about the ten
greatest teams of all time, the fifty greatest
players, the first NBA game ever played, and relive
one storied moment of basketball history after
another. |
